Invest Kedah Berhad held a strategic meeting with Netzero Technology Sdn. Bhd., a green and sustainable technology company from Malaysia that plans to invest in Kulim, Kedah.
Netzero Technology will focus on the production of glass wool, an eco-friendly insulation material widely used in the construction and green technology industries.
Committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions, Netzero Technology Sdn. Bhd. emphasizes renewable energy solutions such as solar and wind power, energy storage systems, and low-carbon manufacturing.
The company plans to develop a state-of-the-art facility at the Kulim East Industrial Park, covering an area of 23.9 acres. This facility is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 41,000 metric tons in its first phase, with an increase to 61,500 metric tons in the second phase.
This investment reflects Netzero’s commitment to advancing sustainable technology and supports Kedah’s aspiration to become a green technology hub in Malaysia.
